I have been doing web work for roughly 6 years under the name of AtoZ Studio.  In the beginning it was really just a side project.  My background is actually in linguistics and education, and during my studies I was introduced to programming languages and the web.  I eventually went back to school to study programming and web application development, and then transitioned out of education and into web development.  After a relatively short stint at a start-up mobile media firm, I decided to pursue my own business full-time when they went out of business.

That was 4¹/₂ years ago now.  In that time, I have built up a fairly substantial list of clients, some of them "regulars" and some of them "one-shot deals."  And although I do both design and development, I work with other local designers who need development work done and, likewise, have done design work for developers.
